It’s no secret that I like Lady Knights like, a lot. I put together a little randomizer as a sort of exercise. Then I thought, why not share it?
So here’s the thing. Five categories of traits. Pick three and run with it! Bonus challenge: do all five categories. And of course you’re free to add to the categories if what you want isn’t in there. Have fun with it! Don’t forget to tag #Lady Knights so I can see the cool stuff you come up with!
Here’s my starter to kick things off: Fists, Top Heavy, Nervous, Indian, Shark/Piscine.
'A Californian congressmen has just introduced a law to make it illegal to keep orcas in captivity. This could change everything — but SeaWorld is already mounting a vicious campaign to defeat this congressman's brave move. We need to tell the State of California that the public won't accept SeaWorld's imprisonment of orcas any longer.'
Enact the Orca Welfare and Safety Act to make it illegal to hold orcas in captivity for performance or entertainment purposes
He liked it best when he was with Ron and Hermione and they we’re talking about other things, or else letting him sit in silence while they played chess. He felt as though all three of them had reached an understanding they didn’t need to put into words.
Who are you, you poor kindred soul? Where are you deployed? What can I do to ease your suffering?
aren’t…all starbucks drinks “to go”? I had no idea there was a difference.
Well, every Starbucks has a handful of ceramic and glass mugs and cups which, if a customer wants, we can put their drink into, so that they can pretend they’re sitting down at a real coffee shop, pretending to have a meaningful experience. What actually ends up happening, most times, is these glass cups get used by partners for their drinks on break, so that we can cut down on wasted plastic cups.
Every now and then, though, you get someone who wants a real mug for a serious sit-down coffee drinking EVENT. And, to be fair to your more discerning customer, if you order a cappuccino (especially a dry cap), then you really should drink that from a mug, because the little drink-hole in the plastic lid just isn’t going to give you anything but bullshit bubbles, rather than a proper foamy cap. The cappuccino is the one Starbucks drink that does seriously benefit from being in a mug (obviously, a really nice, well-done latte that was made with a focus on quality rather than speed deserves to be in a mug, because a good latte is a work of freakin’ art. But, we don’t make those at Starbucks, because we are Green Apron Coffee McDonalds). As for a mocha, like what the customer in question got… eh, whatever, man. Makes no difference in taste, really. Somebody just wanted to have it their way for whatever reason, and then decided, again for whatever reason to be a jerk about it when it wasn’t done their way.
Another piece I’ve done for Let’s Draw Merlin! The theme for this latest round: Old Endings & New Beginnings! Those last two words made me think of children… So I give you a different ending (out with the old) in which Arthur and Gwen both live happily ever after and have beautiful babies - who, naturally, adore their “Uncle” Merlin! Now, wouldn’t a Court Sorcerer make a brilliant babysitter? Instead of hearing another bedtime story, they’d get to see more magic tricks! <3 (My Art Tag)
